Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Research Articles
This section publishes original research articles that present novel findings, clear methodology, appropriate analysis, and meaningful contribution to the journal’s subject area. Submissions should include a structured or unstructured abstract, relevant keywords, complete references, and all necessary ethical or methodological details.
Review Articles
This section publishes review articles that provide a clear, balanced, and scholarly synthesis of current knowledge in the relevant field. Review articles should critically summarize existing literature, identify knowledge gaps, and present a useful perspective for researchers, clinicians, educators, or policy makers.
Short Communications
This section publishes concise reports of original findings, preliminary observations, methodological notes, or focused scientific contributions. Submissions should be brief, clear, and supported by appropriate data or evidence.
Case Reports
This section publishes case reports or case-based observations that provide educational, clinical, diagnostic, methodological, or scientific value. Submissions should clearly describe the case, relevant background, interpretation, and practical significance.
Editorials
This section publishes editorial articles, invited comments, journal updates, or expert perspectives related to the journal’s scope. Editorials may not require the same structure as original research articles.
